Preface

"It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live."

I read faster than I talk. That's been true since school, and it hasn't really changed — after a long day at NatWest I still disappear into a book the same way I disappear into a bug.

This is just the work, in order. No manifesto. If you want to say hello, there's an address at the back.

Software engineer at NatWest, in Chennai. Most of the week is production software: the kind that has to be right on a Tuesday, not only when someone's watching.

I still do hackathons. Different muscle. You get a night, half an idea, and a room of people who will tell you if it actually worked.

Computer science at SRM, 9.46. Interned on emergency-call systems, then RPA and gen AI at HCLTech, then NatWest.

Once a year I run a small webinar for higher-secondary students. IGNITE, 2023 to 2025. HTML the first year, a product idea the second, a tiny ML model the third. Someone had to start somewhere.

I also help Sri Sai Illam with the unglamorous internet stuff: a site, some SEO, the posts that need to go out.

There's usually a book on the nightstand and a terminal in the other window. I don't make a big thing of either.
